- IPWEA 2012 NSW Conference – 7-9 May 2012 – Novotel Pacific Bay Hotel, Coffs Harbour. The IPWEA NSW State Conference is an annual event whose aim is to attract IPWEA NSW members and other participants in the public engineering sector. The conference will recognize the issues of developing, building and retaining skills and staff within the workforce and the need to focus and cultivate ongoing consultation and communication with local communities, as well as further expand on topics such as management of the environment of the environmental and sustainability. Infor is a sponsor of the conference.
- Local Government Manager’s Australia National Congress & Business Expo – 20-23rd May 2012 – Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, Perth, WA.
This major event on the Public Sector calendar will see delegates from across Australia and the Pacific in attendance. Around 400 delegates from the local government sector attend. Delegates consist of 75% senior management and 25% of elected representatives.
This event has been held annually for over 34 years. It is Australia’s premium forum for exploring and analysing current and emerging sector issues. Conducted over four days, it is well established as a key annual forum. This year’s theme is “Reframing Local Futures : from stewardship to leadership”
Hansen 8.2 Webinars
The Hansen webinars were a great success with around 150 people tuning in across Australia and New Zealand to hear about the new functionality in Hansen 8 and an overview of the migration from Hansen 7 - Hansen 8.2
