Business Cloud
For some time now, businesses (and cloud solution vendors) have been running non-mission critical applications, like back office operations, financials, HR, talent management, and sales force automation in the cloud. The thinking seems to have been that if the cloud fails, the core business of the organization can continue.
Infor has offered cloud based applications for more than a decade and is leading the migration of core industry processes to the cloud. We believe that the cloud is ready to run an organization’s most vital applications, such as ERP, EAM, and SCM. Our cloud computing platform is robust enough to ensure that those applications will keep running efficiently and effectively.
What it Is
Infor10 Business Cloud delivers an integrated application suite via your Web browser. All you need to provide is Internet access. Business Cloud is robust, secure, powerful, and delivers enterprise-level functionality for:
- Customer Relationship Management
- Expense Management
- Manufacturing/Enterprise Resource Planning
- Enterprise Asset Management
- Hospitality Management
- Property Management
- Workforce Management
Plus, Business Cloud offers a variety of cloud-based deployment models-from totally cloud based to hybrid environments, where some functionality is served from on-premises and some functionality is served from the cloud—providing you with the flexibility and adaptability that you need.
However you decide to deploy, you'll get a seamless, unified user experience—the functionality, look-and- feel, and single sign-on are the same for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments. So no matter where an application is running, the experience for the user is the same; in fact, the user won't be able to tell where the functionality is being served from.
What it Does
With Business Cloud, you get all of the functionality that you need to keep your business running effectively, with none of the infrastructure and IT concerns.
Access your functionality from a software-as-a-service (cloud) model, or on-premises deployment. You'll get the same functionality and the same look-and-feel. The only difference is in how your users connect to your core applications. You can even move from one deployment model to another, since the same application code is used for all deployment models.
Our cloud computing platform is robust enough to ensure that your applications will keep running efficiently, effectively, and securely.
We offer two different cloud-based payment options, as well as standard on-premises deployment and dedicated hosting options. The cloud options are:
- SaaS Subscription—Infor hosts your applications on our multi-tenant servers. You get pay-as-you go flexibility for on-demand software. Pay annually, quarterly, or monthly. Quickly and easily ramp up your capacity as you deploy additional sites and users. We'll handle the infrastructure and software upgrades.
- Cloud License—Also known as hosted license, you purchase a perpetual software license, and we run the applications on our multi-tenant platform. This gives you the flexibility to bring the applications in house at some point, or to continue to let us host them for you-and take care of all the IT and infrastructure responsibilities.
Business Cloud is served from state-of-the-art industrial data centers. We provide strong physical security, managed firewalls, intrusion detection, vulnerability scans, and regular audits. Our customers manage their own application user IDs and passwords to provide for the utmost privacy.
To ensure optimal reliability, Business Cloud applications are set up with full redundancy to eliminate single points of failure. We use high-performance hardware to provide a highly scalable, high performance solution.
Cloud functionality is served from applications that include:
